The program is set up in the NLU cluster model in which a cohort of teachers enrolls in all (or nearly all) of the courses together. Classes typically meet on the same evening each week during the school year, once a week for eleven weeks; and during the summer two times a week for six weeks. NLU is beginning a Health Education cluster on the Wheeling campus (Wolf and Palatine Roads) in Fall 2004. Classes will meet during the school year on Tuesdays, typically from 4:30 to 9:30, and on Tuesdays and Thursdays for six weeks during the summer terms.
The Health Education concentration may also be completed through individual course offerings rather than through the cluster format. Please see the Quarterly for the schedule of offerings and/or contact the Program Coordinator to discuss a sequence.
