From fall 2015 through spring 2016, there were 34 graduates from the clinical mental health counseling program and 16 graduates from the school counseling program. National Louis University has a diverse student population in master’s level counseling programs. In fall 2015, female students represented 79 percent and male students represented 21 percent. Ethnicities represented 53 percent of the total counseling students.
Clinical mental health counseling students graduating in 2016 (2013 start) had a 67 percent graduation rate. School counseling students graduating in 2016 (2013 start) had an 88 percent graduation rate.
The National Counselor Examination (NCE) pass rate for academic year 2015-2016 was 64 percent. The school counselor pass rate on the Illinois State Board of Education content exam for licensure for 2015-2016 was 100 percent.
