ELE 587 Competency Appraisal

ELE 587 Competency Appraisal

The Competency Appraisal is a tool used to assess the active involvement of the AUSL resident (the NLU student) with the mentor teacher and the students during the AUSL field experiences. The Competency Appraisal aligns with national and state standards for teacher preparation (*see below), helps determine the course grade for the experiences and becomes part of the resident’s permanent record at the university.
