ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
University Admissions Requirements/Process. For admission to the university, the students entering the cohort, degree completion Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration are required to have a 2.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale (C average) and to be in good standing at the college previously attended. Students who apply with less than a 2.0 average may be considered via provisional admission (High Potential Students). Students will be required to submit the required application materials to the Office of Admission:
1. Completed admission form
2. Application fee (nonrefundable)
3. Official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended
Program Admissions Requirements/Process. For admission to the program, requirements are summarized below:
1. Students must have completed an AAS degree in Management or
equivalent degree
(Examples of “equivalent degrees” would be AAS degrees in Real Estate Management, Accounting, Hospitality Management, and Marketing.)
2. Students must transfer in a minimum of 135 quarter hours (or the equivalent semester hours), achieving a minimum grade of C and a 2.0 grade point average. Students will be strongly recommended to take additional General Education courses and business courses. .
3. Students must have met the minimum university general education requirements
These requirements were developed to ensure that students have successfully completed the needed coursework prior to entering the cohort, degree completion Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration.
Exceptions to these admission requirements for the program can be appealed. The local Academic Program Director may waive up to 15 quarter hours of the required 135 quarter hours (or its equivalent) if the student’s admission file indicates a strong potential for success in this program.
Work Experience Requirement
Unlike the other cohort, degree-completion programs within the College of Management and Business, for the BA in Business Administration, no work experience is required for admission to the BA in Business Administration program.
