Cohort Groups

The cohort concept is a valuable feature of the Community College Leadership Doctoral program. This concept embodies such ideals as community building, collaboration, and peer support.  While it is anticipated that each cohort group will work with each other in various ways, the following is a list of suggested activities:

  • E-mail and internet connections
  • emotional support
  • technical assistance
  • peer critique and feedback
  • study groups
  • telephone “tree”
  • social groups
  • editing of papers

The friends you make throughout the doctoral program at National-Louis will remain life-long contacts and colleagues.
