Dr. Rebecca S. Lake

Dr. Lake is currently Assistant professor and program director for the Community College Leadership (CCL) doctoral program at National-Louis University in Chicago. Illinois. She served on the planning committee for the doctoral program and has been program director since the admission of the first doctoral cohort in Fall 2006.
Rebecca has spent her professional adult life involved in college administration, academia, health planning, hospital and health care administration and nursing. Before coming to NLU, Rebecca was dean and vice-president in an Illinois community college.
Her Ed.D. is in Adult and Continuing Education (ACE) program from National Louis University where she pursued a special interest in globalization, as well as community college leadership and administration. For her research, Rebecca traveled around the world interviewing presidents of colleges and universities regarding the factors they employ when making decisions.
