Ecology of the Tallgrass Prairie


A unique learning opportunity, "Ecology of the Tallgrass Prairie" will be available in a one-week intensive format July 27 - August 1, 2009. Morning classroom sessions introduce the evolution, flora, fauna, and ecological interactions found in tallgrass prairie; afternoon field trips explore high quality local prairie ecosystems. The course is available for undergraduate or graduate credit, or can be taken as a workshop for teachers.

Career Development

National-Louis University offers Career Development services to its students and alumni. Each week, the Center for Career Development (CCD) posts job bulletins of open positions in regions near NLU academic centers. In addition to these bulletins, the CCD assists students in preparing resumes, cover letters, follow-up letters as well as proper interview etiquette and attire. The Center for Career Development is dedicated to assisting students and alumni in translating educational and personal skills, and any prior work experience, into a meaningful career.
