Adult, Continuing, and Literacy Education Masters Program

Adult Education Leadership Cognate

The Adult Education Leadership prepares learners to take a leadership role in the field by helping them shape and direct their learning through collaborative and independent inquiries which are grounded in the life and work experiences of each cohort. Through the process of inquiry, the graduate program is able to focus on the unique needs of each student. At the conclusion of the program coursework, inquiries, work and life experience are woven together into whole fabric, a portfolio which comprehensively demonstrates the unique texture and design of the program for each graduate. To assist the student in the development of an appropriate sequence of courses, an advisor will be appointed upon admission to the program.
