I am foremost the very proud and loving father of two very bright and caring teenagers, a son and a daughter. Over the past twenty some odd years, I have had the good fortune to design, develop and initiate several social service agencies in Chicago and around the nation. During this time, I learned to teach, mentor, and learn from as well as help guide the lives of many bright-eyed and bushy-tailed family therapists, drug abuse therapists and youth workers. I prefer the salon style when I teach, which affords, for me, the establishment of an open dialog that fosters creative criticism in order to allow the participants to learn from their uniquely perspective observations.

Currently, I function as the executive vice president of a technical consulting firm, specializing in governmental privatization and policy analysis. I have the responsibility of designing staffing patterns as well as assisting our talented and extremely fast learning professional staff in the absorption of technical and often times confusing information.

Working with all these great people over the years, has taught me to allow myself the time and space to enjoy my life as a father. That is why, when I'm not at school or at the office, you can usually find us together either cooking, frequenting sporting events, napping at the opera, enjoying local and professional theater, tapping to the symphony, and participating in many other sedentary activities.
