Career Outlook

Statistics from the Federal Government and private organizations indicate that people who major in liberal arts often do well in the job market. Liberal arts students' employment and earnings have increased over time, and more liberal arts graduates are reporting employment that relates to their degree. Those who study liberal arts can pursue a range of careers, including marketing, advertising, journalism, education and customer service, as well as graduate study in any major and minor areas. Most entry-level positions require people who can learn quickly and solve problems—skills in which liberal arts students often excel.

Additional Liberal Arts Degree Program Requirements
