|Title:||Outreach Development Specialist|
|Position summary:||The Outreach Development Specialist will primarily be responsible for portfolio management within an assigned region. This will include multicultural outreach by developing relationships, partnerships, lead generation, or lead conversion with through various venues such as businesses, community agencies, community colleges, and K-12 schools within an assigned region.|
|Responsibilities:||The Outreach Development Specialist will develop relationships with influencers such as vice-presidents, deans, associate deans, faculty and/or transfer coordinators in appropriate venues (i.e. community college, school, etc.) in order to secure prospective student inquiries; Participates in events related to multicultural outreach activities such as community college table visits, offsite information sessions, fairs, and networking events with the purpose of establishing lead generating contacts; effectively manage a portfolio within an assigned region to generate leads or to convert leads; Assists in the development of multicultural awareness, monitors and reports on multicultural leads and attainment; Proactively identifies new opportunities for growth within the assigned region; Actively recruits students using program information sessions, classroom presentations, and counselor presentations; Produces activity reports on a weekly basis; submits generated inquiries within one business day.|
|Minimum qualifications:||The successful candidate will have effective presentation skills as well as strong attention to details and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task. Ability to measure and track progress against goals. Ability to network and develop relationships in higher education communities. Ability to understand University programs and resulting career opportunities. Must be able to evaluate the community college market and make recommendations that will positively impact enrollment. Must use judgment to self-direct efforts against greatest growth and results driven initiatives. Considerable latitude for decision-making and problem-solving on a daily basis is required. A Bachelor's degree with 5 years of related experience in higher education is required, Master's preferred. Bilingual (Polish) preferred. Solid knowledge of WORD, EXCEL and PowerPoint.|
