COUNSELING
The university does not have a counselor on campus available to students. Students seeking counseling referrals should contact the Office of Student Life. Students may obtain the names of licensed therapists in their community from the Office of Student Life. The cost of counseling outside the University is incurred by the student. NLU does not cover private counseling.

NLU offers students free, anonymous online resources with the Ulifeline network.
"Ulifeline is an anonymous, confidential, online resource center, where students can be comfortable self administering mental health screenings. There are also links to information on treating depression, managing stress, coping with anxiety, etc. Ulifeline is an educational tool found only on the internet that provides the information you need on your mental health concerns. 1200 Colleges and Universities participate in the ULifeline Network.
