Doctoral Scholarships

The Watanuki Travel Grant for ACE Doctoral Students

The Watanuki Travel Grant at National-Louis University was established in 2005 by Dr. Kumiko Watanuki, a graduate of the ACE Doctoral Program at National-Louis University.

The grant will be used to support the expenses incurred for registration and travel, to conferences within the North American Region: United States, Canada, and Mexico. The intent of the Watanuki Travel Grant specifically is to assist doctoral students who are working toward their dissertations.

Recipients must be current ACE Doctoral Students; or members who graduated within the last 12 months, who will be presenting their dissertations at an adult-education focused conference.

Attendance: For 2nd or 3rd year students. The grant will be limited to the conference registration fee.

Presentation: For 3rd year students. This grant will cover the conference registration fee and travel (airfare and ground transportation within the North America Region: United States, Canada, and Mexico).

The application form and selection criteria are available to applicants by emailing stscholarships@nl.edu.  Interested parties should ask for guidelines for the Watanuki Travel Grant, ACE Doctoral program.
