The Benefactors Scholarship
The award is $700 per term with a maximum of $2,800 per academic year for full-time students.
Eligibility Criteria:

Full admission to an undergraduate degree program at National-Louis University prior to initial enrollment.

A minimum of 45 quarter hours/30 semester hours of accepted transferable college credit and a transfer GPA of 3.75 on a 4.00 scale at the point of admission.*

The scholarship is renewable contingent upon the student enrolling in at least 6 quarter hours for consecutive terms until combined transfer and NLU credit has reached or exceeded 180 quarter hours and maintaining a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.75 or higher for all NLU coursework.

Recipients must enroll in at least 12 quarter hours each term to receive $700. For any term that enrollment is 6–11 quarter hours, the student will receive $350. FOCUS courses were not considered in determining scholarship eligibility prior to 2008-2009.
*NLU reserves the right to exclude non-academic coursework from the calculation.
Please note that undergraduate scholarships can only be applied toward NLU tuition and are not refundable to the student. Students who receive other NLU scholarships, waivers, grants, and/or discounts that total 25% or more of tuition for any term are not eligible to receive the Benefactors Scholarship for that term.
